God Is Love, Mercy And Justice
God is love. The same love is offered free to humanity in loving-kindness. As well, God does not neglect our loving services. That is why God is Love, Loving and Beloved.
- It is love that becomes mercy, and then mercy becomes grace. For example, love teaches a man the laws of life and guides him not to sin and suffer for any crime.
- When man puts himself into trouble, love changes into mercy in order to safe-keep man from the path of eternal death.
- A debtor can be set free by another person, who pays his debts. Such deliverance is only mercy, because the debtor still has to pay his saviour and creditor. But, where the credit offers his deliverance as a free gift, his mercy is no longer an ordinary mercy. It becomes grace. Such is the nature of God and His ways.
Courts Of Law Or Courts Of Peace?
Today in the world, there are so many courts of law. Every complainant is busy trying to win a case against the defendants. People quickly forget the mercies of the Lord and His teachings on love and mercy. Even the judges and lawyers are not qualified to judge in the courts of law, for it is only an innocent man that is fit to judge cases in the courts, which are the temples of law.
But, what God wants from humanity are courts of peace, and not courts of law. Find a way to settle every case in a peaceful and friendly way. The person you serve today, you may need his services tomorrow.
The Last Option
Mercy first is offered free. But, whoever that rejects the mercy of God, has to pass through the door of justice. This is terrible, for none can prove himself righteous. The righteousness of a man is like a dirty rag in the eyes of God. That is why mankind suffer for negligence of simple ways of living. For whatever a man fails to accept freely in kindness, he has to get by suffering in hardship. That is why the Master says, "He who refuses to pass through the door of my mercy, shall pass through the door of my justice."
God confirms the same messade, when He appeared to Moses.
5 Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. 6 And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, "The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children's children to the third and the fourth generation." Exodus 34:5-7
